Would using the term "polla" in Spanish be vulgar or does it have a lighter meaning like in America when they say a little boy's "wee wee"?
44750 viewsupdated Oct 4, 2014posted by bjlehmanIt is rather more vulgar than wee-wee. A lot more like d*ck. - Gekkosan, Mar 18, 2011If you have slang questions, please feel free to PM me first, before posting to help preserve the "all-audience" agenda intended by this site. ;-) - DJ_Huero, Mar 18, 2011YIKES! Glad I asked. I guess I won't be using this term any time soon! - bjlehman, Mar 18, 2011Lol, I wouldn't advise it. But it's better you ask me (or anyone who volunteers) about words that could possibly inappropriate via PM. That way, noone here gets offended, and you don't use them in a public setting and embarass yourself. =) - DJ_Huero, Mar 18, 2011It was good you asked this. Non-native speakers do not always know how bad a word is until it is spelt out by a native speaker. So thanks!t was not cleared. - Swisslady, Oct 4, 20143 Answers
4votesJaja... yea, this post will probably soon be cleared... so read up quickly. Polla is a very sexual (and sometimes considered derogitory) term for a male reproductive part. Wee wee is funny and innocent, used by children... polla is naughty and bad, used by chusmas and bad-mouthed people.

updated Mar 19, 2011posted by kenwilliamsObviously ken, this is slang, not to be taken literal given it's context. - DJ_Huero, Mar 18, 2011A female chicken is gallina, in any event. While the word being discussed literally means a young female chicken, it is really *never* used that way. - Gekkosan, Mar 18, 2011How do you know all these bad words??? :-) - Echoline, Mar 18, 2011I hang out with the right crowds! - Gekkosan, Mar 18, 2011Hey you guys that was my attempt at a joke I know what the word means and also the live female bird is a gallina. - kenwilliams, Mar 18, 2011But Ken, the thing is, the word really does mean that, literally! Check out the DRAE! :-) - Gekkosan, Mar 19, 20110votespolla
