Is The DCR Make Different Between Those Two Monitors - Displays

hello,i wanna buy monitor mostly for gaming,editing,movies ... and i stuck with 2 monitors but there different in size and DCR and i don't know if the DCR is important aspect or not.Also i don't want it to be harmful for my eyes because i use pc alot.Samsung LED S24D300HS: 24inch .... DCR : 1:1000LG LED 22M47VQ-P : 21inch ... DCR : 5000000:1thank you for helping  .

Dynamic contrast ratio is the definition of marketing bullshit.

Get the samsung since 24" is so much better (there may also be better alternatives, what's your location and use case?)

DCR, or Dynamic Contrast Ratio, is just a marketing gimmick that manufacturers employ to try an who people over. It basically just dims/brightens the backlight on dark/bright scenes and it is always recommended to turn it off as it is horrible to view.

Both monitors you have selected are TN panels so the contrast ratio will be pretty much similar.

I would go for the larger screen.

23.6 AOC LED E2476VWM624 BenQ LED GL2460HM

one of my friends told me AOC sucks and i dont know anything about BenQ any ideas ?

AOC is a third-tier brand, so I would ignore that. As for the BenQ, it's also a very good monitor. I would personally go with the BenQ due to it having a VESA mount (in case you ever wanted to mount it on an arm).

Funny you should mention the GL2460HM, I actually owned one for a day and returned it, it's the worst monitor that I've ever used, horrible amounts of ghosting.

The AOC seems pretty much the same as the Samsung, so I would choose which one you prefer the look of.
