Is the second Black Widow about to make her debut in Hawkeye? When does Yelena Belova show up?

Hawkeye features a number of memorable Marvel characters.

It is, of course, led by the two characters who are destined to carry the titular mantle at one point in their lives, Clint Barton (the present holder of that title) and Kate Bishop (the future), while also featuring the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s introduction of Maya Lopez, a.k.a. Echo.

That being said, fans are also curious as to whether we will see the return of a new MCU character that we met earlier this year. We are, of course, talking about Yelena Belova. Portrayed by Florence Pugh, she debuted in Black Widow and was a major factor in the destruction of the Red Room, assisting her sister Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a. Black Widow, take it down.

Since the movie’s post-credits scene revealed that Yelena, now presumably the second Black Widow, has Clint Barton in her sights, fans have been curious as to when she will turn up in the Disney Plus series.

Is Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova in Hawkeye?

Yes, Yelena Belova will show herself in Hawkeye. The post-credits sequence of Black Widow saw Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine show the character a picture of Clint Barton, telling her that Hawkeye was her next target and that he was responsible for Natasha’s death.

Moreover, Florence Pugh was spotted in Atlanta where filming of the show was taking place, which confirmed that she will make her presence felt in the show before its conclusion.

The first three episodes of Hawkeye are now available on Disney Plus.
