ITV Coronation Street fans concerned for Sally Dynevor after spotting 'lump' on her face

Coronation Street fans were concerned for Sally Dynevor after spotting a 'lump' on her face as she returned to the hit ITV soap. The actress, who plays legendary character Sally Metcalfe, was back on the street after taking a break to appear on Dancing on Ice.

She appeared to have a red mark on the side of her face as she filmed scenes with on-screen husband Tim Metcalfe. Viewers were quick to ask if the star was okay after spotting the supposed injury.

One viewer tweeted: "What's the red mark on Sally's face?" Another asked: "What's Sally done to her face? Looks all bruised."

"What's wrong with Sally's face? One side done [sic] look right does it?," a third viewer asked. A fourth added: "Noticed that too. Really big lump. Hope she's OK in real life."

Fans of the show speculated that she might have been caught out in the sun in the recent glorious sunshine across the UK. But others believed she might have injured herself while skating on Dancing on Ice.

Sally was partnered with professional skater Matt Evers, 46, for the popular show. The pair left the competition in week six.

She also gave the show a Corrie twist when she enlisted the help of fellow soap star Antony Cotton for props week. The Dancing on Ice 2018 contestant – who plays Sean Tully on Corrie – skated with both Sally and her professional partner Matt Evers.
