YouTube personality Jake Paul is set to go toe-to-toe with former UFC fighter Ben Askren.

The duo began a war of words after Paul’s last victory over ex-NBA star Nate Robinson - his second professional fight and win.

The US-held bout will see Askren enter the boxing arena for the first time with 19 wins and two losses to his name from a 10-year pro MMA career.

The build up to the exhibition boxing bout has been shrouded in controversy this week after Paul was accused of sexually assaulting TikTok star Justine Paradise.

Paul denies the claims and says the allegations were designed to distract attention from the fight, adding Paradise’s claim was “100% false” in a statement on Twitter.

The fight between Jake Paul and Ben Askren will take place on Saturday 17 April 2021.

What time does the Jake Paul v Ben Askren fight start?

The bout is scheduled for a 2am start (UK time) on 18 April though its start time will be dependent on the rest of the night’s six-fight undercard.

The exhibition bout between Jake Paul and Ben Askren will take place in Atlanta, in the United States, at the 74,000-seated capacity Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
