I made a list of names and nothing stuck, my partner and I kept throwing random names at each other until I randomly said Jax and he stopped and said wait I love that so we tried it out for a day! After calling him Jax for that day it never stopped and when we called his name during a 3d ultrasound and he smiled we knew he liked it too.. after a few months he started kicking to his name while he was awake and outside of the womb he is claimed by his name being sung
Things I like about his name are how cute it is, how fitting it is for him as he’s always doing jumping ‘Jax’ movements, I dislike that it’s a name for dogs in some households however that means nothing.
Jax is his dad’s twin, Jax is the cutest & chunkiest baby everyone is always in awe at the plushy soft cheeks, Jax doesn’t cry for no reason, he loves being kissed on each cheek really fast, he doesn’t usually cry when he wakes, I am so lucky for this boy

It’s simple but not boring, unique without being strange, easy to remember but not common, and just all around bad ass! It also works for both me and my husbands language differences: I speak English and he speaks Swedish. It was important to us that it worked easily for both.

I think Jax is lucky to have a short easy name and not a old outdated name like Earl.

I like that it is simple and one syllable. Also goes well with our 4 syllable- last name.
