Advanced Search Jayson Tatum is an American basketball player who currently plays for the ‘Boston Celtics’ of the ‘National Basketball Association’ (NBA). Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Jayson was trained in basketball from an early age. His mother had him when she was 19 years old and raised him as a single mother. She dealt with difficult financial conditions but left no stone unturned in making her son’s dream of playing in the ‘NBA’ come true. He attended the ‘Chaminade College Preparatory School’ and was one of the best players on the school basketball team. He was also rated as a five-star recruit. During his junior year of college, he averaged 13.3 points per game. In his sophomore and final years, his average was 26 and 29.6 points per game, respectively. Following his high-school graduation, he enrolled at ‘Duke University.’ He missed the first few games of his college team due to a foot injury. His exceptional performance had him getting picked up by ‘Boston Celtics’ in the 2017 ‘NBA Draft.’ In May 2018, he was named to the ‘NBA All-Rookie First Team,’ following many extraordinary performances.
