Clarkson's Farm: Jeremy announces a second series of the show

Jeremy Clarkson is best known for being one-third of the hosting trio on car show Top Gear. He then turned his attention to becoming a game show presenter with the revival of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? but nowadays, he has been focused on getting Diddly Squat Farm up and running. The first series of Clarkson's Farm was released earlier this year on Amazon Prime Video and went down a storm.

Season one of Clarkson's Farm saw the broadcaster getting to grips with farm life with help from some of his employees including the beloved Gerald and Kaleb Cooper.

From the get-go it was clear Jeremy needed a lot of help so viewers loved seeing him and his team working alongside one another to get the jobs done.

For a while at least, it was unclear if Amazon Prime Video was going to give the docu-series a renewal.

Thankfully, last month the streaming service announced the good news that Clarkson's Farm would be back for a second series.

How tall is Jeremy Clarkson? 

Jeremy isn't only known for the shows that he has been in but also his height.

In every series he has been in, the 61-year-old has almost always towered over those he is appearing next to.

According to Celeb Heights, Jeremy is 1.96m tall which is the equivalent to just over 6ft 4in.

This would explain the height difference between himself and his former Top Gear colleagues.

Fellow host of the popular car series James May stands at around 5ft 9in.

Meanwhile, their co-star Richard Hammond is only 1.7m tall which is equal to 5ft 5in.

This means there is a staggering 1ft 1in height difference between Jeremy and Richard.

Going by Jeremy's comments, it seems unlikely either of his Top Gear cohorts will be rubbing shoulders with him at Diddly Squat any time soon.

When the show was given a renewal, a fan on Twitter questioned if James and Richard would be making a cameo in the second series.

To this, the Clarkson's Farm star simply replied: "Not in a million years."

When asked about the comment on This Morning, Richard said: "I read that!

"I mean, I love the show. The key thing about the show, and you can tell when you watch it, is that it is a genuine passion.

"It's not for effect and it's not just for telly. It's genuinely something he wanted to get to grips with, and that's fantastic."

Clarkson's Farm will be back for more brand new episodes on Amazon Prime Video.

The streaming service hasn't yet given a release date for series two but filming has started.

The second series is likely to be released sometime in the summer of 2022.
