Jersey Shore: All Of The Details On Renting The Original Shore House

While longtime viewers of Jersey Shore can actually rent out the house that the roommates stayed in every summer, there are some things they should know before planning their trip to the famous shore house. The original house of the Jersey Shore cast is located in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, right on the boardwalk. The once-simple shore house has since become a legendary place to stay.

The original eight roommates first walked into the Jersey Shore house in 2009. Although the cast has changed an awful lot since then, the house has remained exactly the same; well, maybe it's a little cleaner now. After the show came to an end, the house became available for the public to rent yet again. The roomies have since returned to the house for a few occasional visits seen in the spinoff series Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Fans will have to put out a large chunk of money to stay in the house Mike "The Situation" and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi became breakout stars. According to Showbiz, a one-night stay at the famous shore house during the summer season can cost around $3,000. The most any guest has ever paid for one night inside the house is $3,500. If fans would like to make a visit during the winter, which is considered to be the off-season at the shore, a one-night stay can cost around $1,200. If this price is too expensive, fans also have the option to tour the house instead. They can have ten minutes to take a look around the house the cast had some of their best drunken moments in for just $10 per person. Unfortunately, the home is currently not offering rental options; however, tours are still available.

Danny Merk, who was the cast's boss at the shore store, still owns the house to this day. The house is actually located on top of his shore store where the cast spent their summer working. Although it is not for sale, Zillow currently gives the home an estimated value of $465,957. It is perfect for large groups with 6 bedrooms as well as a full kitchen and dining area. The shore house includes numerous amenities as seen on the show such as rooftop terrace overlooking the boardwalk and beach along with a grill on the deck. And of course, the infamous duck phone still resides inside the house. Perhaps one day down the road the cast's kids will take a trip to the shore house together. Mike did say he could see them having their own spinoff series when they are all grown.

The cast weren't the only ones who changed their lives when they signed onto the show. Danny Merk truly changed his life when he agreed to let a group of strangers film a show inside his house that, at the time, he didn't even know would be successful or not. It is unknown if the original Jersey Shore house will again become available for rent to the public; however, the shore store remains open year-round as well as the option to take a tour.
