Jessica Alba Explains Why She Broke Down Over Daughter's Height

Jessica Alba explained why she broke down in tears over her daughter’s quick growth.

The LA’s Finest star shared a snap of her and her 12-year-old daughter Honor standing back to back as well a picture of her crying as she hugged the teen.

‘The moment you realize your number 1 baby is taller than you 😩😩😩 ‘ she captioned the post.

Jessica, 39, appeared on SiriusXM’s The Highway to open up about why she teared up at the thought of her daughter quickly growing up.

‘My friend was over and he took the photo and he was like, no, no, no, she’s taller,’ she began. ‘He was like, Honor, you’re taller than your mom. I was like, “no, no, she’s not.”‘

It took a lot of convincing for Jessica to believe her daughter is taller than her.

‘And then we’re back to back. Just, I fell apart,’ she explained. ‘I just started crying and he was like, “That is hilarious.” And he started taking pictures, but yeah, she’s taller than me.’

Jessica continued: ‘I mean, literally over COVID she went from like a size seven to like a nine shoe. And she went from being 5’4, and she’s like 5’6 1/2, 5’7.’

‘It’s crazy. It’s like, Honor, you don’t understand. Like, I like you were here. Like you were this, you were this little nugget and I just like, you were just my baby.’

Jessica also shares daughter Haven, nine, and son Hayes, two, with husband of 12 years Cash Warren.

If she’s reacting like this now, she’s in for a wild ride when Haven and Hayes get taller than her.

Meanwhile, proud mum Jessica didn’t let the coronavirus stop her family from celebrating Honor’s graduation this summer.

After decorating her car to give her fun elementary school graduation, Jessica displayed Honor’s name in the wind-shield for some drive-by festivities to mark the occassion.
