AbhinavCracker 2019-09-04 Hi all, I recharged my Airtel Number for 6 months using the 51 Rs loot earlier in July. Now the problem is, I am not recharging my JIO number for quite a long time. I would say it's close to 3 months. Now customer care guys are not giving a definite timeline on when my jio number will get deactivated, they just tell me to recharge my jio number. To be on safe side recharge with Rs.19 plan once in 90 days. That’s it. A number belonging to my cousin is not deactivated even after 18 months of no use. So no definite timeline but choice is yours. If no. matters to you then 19/90 days is not a big amt.

So if I have to deactivate my jio number, I should first port to AVOID and stop recharging. Thank God, AVOID is better than Jio in something.

I still have an active sim since the days they started testing their Network (Before opening for public trials). Didn’t recharge ever. Still they have not deactivated it.

One Of My Jio Number Has Not Been Recharged Since July 2018. And Its Still Active, Able To Receive Calls/Sms. No Outgoing As That Requires Any Of The Packs To Be Active.

they do deactivate but thats a rarity.. one of my sim taken when jio sim was free with free internet was deactivated in mid 2019 because i never recharged anything in that nor kept any balance

Quick FACT : I don't know if any of you noticed, but jio used to give 1 month free internet (<64kbps) after main pack gets expired. Now they give 5 days free internet.

@admin I didn’t recharge my jio number since March 27,2020… It is going to be 3 months.. I saw in internet that after 90days I won’t get incomming calls.. Now if I recharge for 10 or 19 rs.. Will I be able to get incomming calls?

No need of any recharge for getting incoming calls in Jio. For outgoing only one needs to recharge.
