JLPT N1 Grammar: わ (wa) Particle Meaning –

Learn Japanese grammar: わ (wa). Meaning: feminine sentence ending particle.
わ (wa) is used by women at the end of sentences. It has no meaning in particular, but it does make the sentence sound more feminine. However, it is not used by young women nowadays and can sound a bit old-fashioned.
It can be combined with other particles like よ, ね, or よね.
