Joanna Noëlle Levesque (born December 20, 1990[1] ), known by her stage name JoJo, is an American singer, songwriter, actress and record producer. She was born in Brattleboro, Vermont and raised in Keene, New Hampshire and Foxborough, Massachusetts. She releases music under the R&B, pop, hip hop and soul music genres. She released her first album, JoJo, in June 2004. The album's first single "Leave (Get Out)" was number one on the US Billboard Pop Chart.
