Universal has dated Get Out, a thriller from Jordan Peele and Blumhouse, for a Feb. 24 release.
The film, from one half of the Key & Peele duo, follows a young black man when he visits his white girlfriend’s family estate, where he begins to uncover a sinister, racially charged conspiracy.
Sicario‘s Daniel Kaluuya and Girls‘ Allison Williams star as the young couple, alongside Catherine Keener, Bradley Whitford and Keith Stanfield.
On its Feb. 24 release date, Get Out will open against Julius Onah’s sci-fi film God Particle and Jamie Foxx thriller Sleepless.
Along with Tuesday’s release date announcement, a trailer was issued for the film — which comes complete with awkward lawn parties, hypnosis and a scary skeleton deer.
