Ryu Ga Gotoku and Sega have announced that both Judgment and Lost Judgment will be coming to PC via Steam on September 14. The releases are significant, considering a talent agency reportedly was blocking the series from coming to PC due to mods.
In Judgment, protagonist Takayuki Yagami must solve a murder mystery where the perpetrator has been murdering Yakuza members around the city of Kamurocho and gouging their eyes out. In the sequel, Lost Judgment, Yagami’s journey takes place in both Kamurocho and Ijincho as he solves another murder case but is linked with an additional bullying incident that spans several decades.
Recommended VideosJudgment is currently available on Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Lost Judgment is also available on those platforms, minus Stadia.
Fans have been wondering about the mysterious absence of PC versions of both games since Sega typically launches their games on all relevant modern platforms. Reportedly, a talent agency called Johnny & Associates wanted to block the game from being on PC due to the platform’s ability to mod assets. This was reported to protect actor Takuya Kimura, who provides his likeness for Yagami. As such, people speculated about the future of this Yakuza spinoff and whether Lost Judgment could be the final game starring Yagami. The PC audience is enormous, as even Sony has come around to publishing its older PlayStation exclusives on the platform.
However, now both Judgement and Lost Judgment are coming to PC, opening up its player base even more. Ryu Ga Gotoku is also currently working on Yakuza 8, the next game within its mainline franchise that will continue to follow Ichiban Kasuga which will release in 2024.

Razer is taking its AI ambitions a step further. According to a new report from Variety, the company has unveiled a “fully agentic” version of its AI companion AVA, capable of running both locally on a PC and in the cloud. The reveal came from Quyen Quach, Razer’s VP of Software, who outlined how the assistant is evolving from a gaming-focused helper into a more autonomous digital companion.
Unlike traditional chatbots that simply respond to prompts, the new version of AVA is designed to act more independently, completing tasks and assisting users proactively. Quach described the technology as “fully agentic,” meaning the AI can perform actions, analyze situations, and interact with systems in ways that go beyond simple conversational responses.

A paid version of the open-source original Xbox emulator xemu just landed on Android, and the drama followed right behind it. The app, called X1 BOX, is an unofficial port that hit the Play Store without the xemu team's involvement, and it's already drawing criticism for charging money for free software.
The xemu team has acknowledged the port and confirmed that a free official Android release is coming. In the meantime, you've got options. A free build is available outside Google Play through a GitHub project offering APK releases. That version stems from the same Android port code but carries the same unofficial status. That gives Android users a paid store version and a sideloaded alternative, though neither has the original developers' approval.

If you’ve been thinking about a “buy one monitor and stop shopping for a while” upgrade, this is the type of deal that actually fits the bill. The KOORUI 32-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor is down to $799.99 from $1,299.99 (38% off). That’s a big drop on a spec combo that usually lives in the premium tier: 4K, OLED, and 240Hz in one screen.
This isn’t just for competitive gaming either. At 32 inches, 4K finally feels like it’s doing something for you day to day, especially if you split time between gaming, content, and work.
