I just saw pic this week and I was surprised although camera angle could be a factor not sure. Iirc, you say 6'4.5" while I give him 6'4.75". Either way, he was definitely not taller than Kobe, yet here he is looing more 2 cm shorter than Dr. J as opposed to 3 cm: Click Here and here they are days before Doc's 57th birthday: Click Here He hasn't lost much height, though, so I'd say he's likely down to about 6'5", which is quite good for a man who admitted to being 6'5.5" peak. I could see a peak 20 something Dr.J being a full 6'6" or just about it. He entered the league or at least the ABA at a time when players were just starting to go by in shoe heights. In the 60s most if not all players went by their barefoot heights.
