Junior Saturday Art Club for 8–11 year olds

Junior Saturday Art Club is a five-week, creative Saturday course for 8–11 year olds, running from 10am–noon.

Young people will enjoy a range of fun, inspiring and challenging activities.

Our art studios and facilities are second to none and will provide an inspiring and creative environment for you to explore all sorts of creative disciplines. Come and have fun!

You’ll be guided by our expert tutor Asma Hashmi.

*NB: The listed fee covers the ten-hour course. All materials are included.

What you’ll learn

During this five-week, creative Saturday course for 8–11 year olds, from 10am–noon, students will enjoy a mixture of art, design, and craft. Students will have the opportunity to experience a range of fun, inspiring and challenging activities

How you’ll learn and be assessed

Young people will receive expert tuition, including the opportunity to take part in a wide range of stimulating activities based at our specialist facilities, workshops, and studios.

Areas they will learn about can include:

photography (darkroom and digital)
graphic design
animation
printmaking
textiles
fashion
ceramics
3D
painting and drawing

What do I need?

All materials and equipment will be provided, but you will need parental consent. Enthusiasm and commitment to attend is a bonus.

All 8–11 year olds are very welcome! All abilities will be catered for. Activities are varied each series to accommodate returning students.
