Karma (楔, Kāma) is a seal bestowed by members of the Ōtsutsuki Clan that takes the form of a four-point tattoo-like pattern.

Karma acts as an Ōtsutsuki backup file for their consciousness. Upon death, an Ōtsutsuki can resurrect themselves using the Karma seal they put on a vessel. The seal will then rewrite someone's genetic pattern, turning them into an Ōtsutsuki. Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki implanted a Karma on Boruto, making Boruto the vessel he will resurrect later on. Kawaki had his own Karma implanted on him by Isshiki Ōtsutsuki. Upon using a Karma seal for resurrections, any other Karma seals put on other vessels by a singular Ōtsutsuki will disappear.

Usage[]

During the battle against Isshiki, they succeed in defeating him. When Boruto runs out of chakra, Momoshiki can manifest in Boruto's body.

When Jigen used all his chakra on dealing with Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. He expands his Karma to overrun his chakra.Kawaki enters Phase III, when he saw Jigen beating up Lord Seventh.
