It’s been less than four months since Kendra Wilkinson gave birth to daughter Alijah Mary, but the reality star—who ballooned to 175 pounds during her pregnancy—is back in amazing shape! The former Girl Next Door, who’s also the mom of Hank IV, 4, credits the low-carb Atkins Diet and daily gym sessions with helping her shed 40 pounds. “I feel incredibly sexy right how,” Kendra, 29, tells OK! as she opens up about the weight-loss plan that worked.

OK!: How was losing the weight after your second baby different?

Kendra Wilkinson: It was tough after Little Hank, because I just assumed I was going to bounce back to being skinny again. And then I realized I don’t have the body type for that. So when I was pregnant with Alijah, I researched a ton of diets—I’ve never been on a real diet before!—and found that Atkins would be the best for me and my lifestyle.

OK!: What was your weight before you had children?

KW: I used to weigh 109 pounds, but after kids that’s just unrealistic. Now 120 pounds is perfect for my new shape. I’m still 15 pounds away from that.

OK!: Is it hard to stick with your diet?

KW: I actually couldn’t be happier with Atkins, because you can still eat your favorite foods; it just limits your carbs and sugar. Plus, it’s easy to incorporate into your routine. When I have burger night with Little Hank, I can just skip the bun.
