Land O Lakes, otherwise known as LOL, is a census-designated place in the Big Bend Coast region of Florida. Though Land O' Lakes does not have a walkable downtown, and is mostly suburbs, they do offer parks, dining, bars, and many shops. Land O' Lakes also has a newly constructing region in its north-west called Angeline, an innovative community by MetroPlaces with soon to be built throughout the next few years.

By bus

• Pasco County Public Transportation.County provided bus service that has a variety of routes. Bikes permitted on bike rack, no permit required. Connections give travelers access to bus service that connects with Pinellas and Hillsborough county public transportation services.(updated Feb 2023)

By car

• Many roads pass through Land O' Lakes and takes you all across the west-coast of Florida. Notably, US-41 Goes right through Land O' Lakes and takes you north to Georgia, and south to Tampa, eventually leading to Miami, and SR-54, taking you from New Port Richey, going east up until it turns into SR-56, ending south of Zephyrhills.

Car - Driving is the easiest way around, since buses are often slow, and only stay on the big roads, and because of Land O' Lakes composition, its mostly big suburbs with stores far from the hotels and homes.

Bus - Pasco County's bus service takes you all across Pasco County to get you to any place you need. The Fares are a one-time ride for $1.50, a day pass for $3.75, and a 31-day pass for $37.50.

Pedestrian - Walking and biking in Land O' Lakes is not recommended, as many roads lack sidewalks or the sidewalks are not the best. Most stores are far from homes and people often drive over 10 minutes to the nearest store. Though, there are some bike paths and bike lanes such as SR-54 and US-41.
