How Does Deep ActiveFX Work?
Deep ActiveFX utilizes CO2 ablative laser technology to target the deepest layers of the skin. The laser removes old and damaged skin cells from the surface while creating controlled micro-injuries in the deeper layers. These micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms to rebuild collagen, resulting in smoother, tighter, and more radiant skin. This treatment can visibly reduce up to 10 years of skin damage and aging.

Preparing for Your AppointmentPreparation is key for a successful treatment. Patients are prescribed an antibiotic one week before the procedure. On the day of the treatment, the skin is thoroughly cleansed, and numbing cream is applied for one hour. Anti-anxiety medication may be administered 30 minutes before the procedure, and injectable pain blockers are used to ensure a comfortable experience.
Post-Treatment CareAfter the treatment, patients may feel groggy due to the anti-anxiety medication. Most can resume semi-normal activities the following day, though social downtime of up to five days is recommended to allow for healing. Expect itching and peeling as the skin renews itself.
