Rating 4 out of 5 Lee county is a very peaceful place, there’s not a lot of places to have fun especially at night. This is mostly a retirement area, but overall I enjoy living here

On days where the weather isn’t too swathing it is particularly beautiful to enjoy and appreciate, but they won’t stop building it up. The wildlife is given very little regard still in this place, and yes the county is named after the Civil War general.

Circumstances led me to this God-forsaken land and truthfully my intentions are to leave as soon as possible. Prepare to book a flight to the nearest Walmart if you live in cape coral. If your intentions are for a quite place to die then lee county is the place for you. Let us not forget their extremely courrupt sherrifs department and cape corals communist code enforcement policies. If you love your family and yourself, the most you'd do is drive right past this shameful county.

The driving is great as there are very little drivers for a big part of the year. Very seasonal. Little work, mostly for retirement

0 people have found this helpfulReportRating 3 out of 5 Lee county is a nice place to be in. many restaurants, parks, businesses. Very family friendly. I lived here almost all my life and i never felt like i was in a terrible place. I made many friends, done lots of things. There is so many schools here. It really does feel like home. However, I would want to see more entertainment. Something to get kids and teens out f the house and make new and more friends. I often drive to different cities to do cools things. Don't get me wrong, there are attractions in Lee County, In would just like to see more. I want to see my generation spending most of their time lout of the house rather than inside. Besides that. Lee county is my home.

0 people have found this helpfulReportRating 3 out of 5 I have been here for 22 years and have seen the area grow tremendously. Unfortunately the growth for housing is booming, but the roadways are not. Public transportation seems to be geared towards low income people. I am not seeing how the government is addressing this issue, when overpasses or more direct traffic flow patterns take forever in the planning stages and the growth of fixing or updating the roads are 10 years or more behind . When I am sitting in traffic, I look at the vehicles passing by and I would estimate 95% are single-passenger vehicles (myself included). There needs to be more encouragement of public transportation and/or better commuting ideas to help alleviate the traffic problems.

0 people have found this helpfulReportRating 5 out of 5 My experience with lee county is its a great county for as long as I've been living in it. Ever since I've been here the county has always done its best to make the residents happy. For example putting up gas stations, offering new jobs, and building new schools. By doing these things it makes the residents of the county happy because it gives them a place to get new jobs and a have a well educated and bright place for there kids to learn in. Although, one thing I would change about lee county is its night life. The nightlife is very dead and there's nothing to do. Therefore, if they can have places to go to or have fun activities to do, it would be so much better.

0 people have found this helpfulReportRating 5 out of 5 The weather is great and the cost of living is pretty good. The jobs don't pay that well but because the cost of living is lower than other places, it is manageable. It is a great place to retire. The schools, medical insurance, the pay are all about 10 years behind the northern states.
