Azelf

Azlef.jpg

Azelf can only be captured after you defeat Team Galactic for the final time at Spear Pillar in the main story. Azelf is found in the cave in the middle of Lake Valor at the south end of Route 214.

  • How to capture Azelf

Mesprit

Mesprit.jpg

Mesprit can only be captured after you defeat Team Galactic for the final time at Spear Pillar in the main story. Mesprit is found in the cave in the middle of Lake Verity near Twinleaf Town. However, after confronting Mesprit, it will teleport away. Professor Rowan will then inform you that Mesprit is playing with you and wants you to chase it.

You'll need the Marking Map app on your Poketech, which will show where Mesprit is on Sinnoh. You'll need to chase it by foot as using Fly will just spawn the Pokemon somewhere else. After every encounter, it will most likely teleport again, forcing you to chase it again. You'll need to chip away its health slowly after every encounter before you can finally capture it.

  • See How to Catch Mesprit for a detailed guide.

Uxie

Uxie.jpg

Uxie can only be captured after you defeat Team Galactic for the final time at Spear Pillar in the main story. Uxie is found in the cave in the middle of Lake Acuity at the southwest exit of Snowpoint City.

  • How to capture Uxie

Giratina

Giratina.jpg

To catch Giratina you first need to defeat the Elite Four and Unlock the National Pokedex. Then, you can find Turnback Cave. Fly to Veilstone City and head to Route 214. Go south, and near the bottom of the route go through Spring Path to the east - this will lead to a wall you need to Rock Climb. Go to the backside of the lake you just found and Rock Climb again to the bottom of the crater to the entrance of Turnback Cave. This cave is essentially a huge maze - travel it to find Giratina (the maze is random, just try.)

To unlock Giratina's Origin Form, you'll need to capture Giratina, get the Distortion Slate at Ramanas Park, and complete a difficult encounter.

Heatran

Heatran.jpg

Heatran is only available after you received your National Dex and have made it to Battle Zone. There's a volcano at the far north called Stark Mountain. You need to traverse the entire Volcano with Buck first. Once you and Buck separate, exit the volcano and head to Buck's house in Survival Area. After talking to everyone in the house, Heatran should now be located in the last interior room of Stark Mountain.

Cresselia

Cresselia.jpg

Cresselia is only available after you received your National Dex. Talk to a sailor in Canalave City, and he will take you to Full Moon Island, which is where Cresselia resides. Cresselia will then teleport away, making you have to chase after it throughout Sinnoh. You'll need the Marking Map app on your Poketech to locate it, and you can only encounter it by foot. Flying will just make it respawn somewhere else. It will try to escape from every encounter, so you'll have to chip away at its health as you continuously chase after it.

Mew

Mew.jpg

Mew, the mythical Psychic Pokemon from the original Red and Blue games, is only available if you have a save file of Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! on your Nintendo Switch.
