Lehigh Acres is one of the largest residential communities in Lee County, and indeed the entire state of Florida. Located in the County’s east central area, Lehigh Acres is a 96-square-mile, pre-platted residential community comprised of mostly quarter-acre and half-acre single-family lots. In order to help provide a better balance of land uses, the community planning efforts in Lehigh Acres are focused at enabling compatible commercial corridors and mixed-use centers while supporting continued viability of the community’s residential neighborhoods.
