Leos have a bad reputation and lots of people shudder when they find out the person they are dating is born under this zodiac sign. Leo is represented by the lion, and people of this sign tend to be just as proud as the creature, so they probably have no idea why people don’t feel the same way about their sign. Express.co.uk chatted to astrologer Francesca Oddie (@francescaoddieastrology on Instagram) to find out why Leos are so hated.

Leos light up any room they walk into because of their confident stride and striking looks.

They’re known for being loyal friends, just like its symbol the lion is to its pride.

This sign has so many positive traits, so it's hard to understand why Leos are hated by some people.

Leos are known for their beauty and bravery, like the lion itself.

This sign likes to get dressed up, have fun and spend time socialising with their friends, family, lovers and pretty much anyone.

They have an energy that is bright and sunny and will light up a room when they enter it.

Why are Leos so hated?

Francesca explained it's all down to envy… quite simply, everyone wants to be you!

She said: “Leos are hated because it’s all about them and also they are the most attractive.

“If I see a horoscope where people have Leo, Taurus or Libra, they’re probably hot!”
