HOME / DICTIONARY / Letter G Letter G The letter G is signed by holding out your dominant hand in a fist, with knuckles lined up vertically. Keep your middle, ring, and pinkie fingers curled in, while your index finger and thumb stick out parallel to each other.

SIGN USAGE
Teach your toddler the letter G sign when it is necessary to finger-spell some simple words - or the initials of objects, places, animals, or people's names. That way, your toddler slowly begins to associate the sign with the sound of the letter in a word or name.
