William John Neeson was born in Ballymena, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on June 7, 1952, is an Northern Irish actor. Young Liam Neeson first started performing in school theater productions. He began his professional acting career on stage in a play "The Risen People" (1976), with Lyric Players' Theatre in Belfast. He landed his Broadway debut in a play "Anna Christie" (1993) in role as Mat Burke, for which he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play. He made his big screen debut in adventure movie Pilgrim's Progress (1978) in role as Jesus Christ. He got his television debut in BBC1 anthology drama series Play for Today (1978) in episode "Dinner at the Sporting Club", in role as Dermont. Liam breakthrough performance came as Oskar Schindler in historical drama film Schindler's List (1993).
