In his TikTok channel, @themindsetcoachuk, Paul Sheppard says porn can "f*** up your brain and also your life" in various ways.
He says: "Too much porn can mean that your brain begins to re-wire itself so that you prefer porn instead of having sex with a real person.
"Too much porn use has been linked to performance anxiety, erectile dysfunction, sexual inadequacy, and also body image negativity."
Paul then says porn is a "super stimulant" that boosts dopamine levels to "unnaturally high" levels, which he says can make it addictive for some people.

Explaining why it's a problem, he adds: "It also makes other things around you much less pleasurable because the only way you can get that really good feeling is to go back to porn."
The life coach lists symptoms like "brain fog" and feeling tired and "demotivated".
In a follow-up video, he recommends a "reboot" to your brain by completely abstaining from porn, avoiding feelings of shame, and getting treatment for porn addiction.

To help people try to stop their porn use, he suggests using parental features on the internet to block X-rated adverts from popping up.
In an on-screen caption, he adds: "Porn and masturbation are often used to relieve stress and anxiety.
"Exercise and learning to relax will help you."
Paul also suggests making a list of fulfilling hobbies you would have the time to do if you stopped watching porn to help motivate you further.
The original video was watched more than 230,000 times on the video-sharing app, with hundreds of people commenting on whether they thought porn use was an issue or not.
"You won't die from it," wrote one user.
Another viewer asked if watching porn for six hours a day was "too much".
