How Long Does it Take to Beat Life is Strange?
The time it takes to complete Life is Strange will vary by how much of the environment players wish to examine, and what optional content they engage with. With that said, somebody's first playthrough of Life is Strange should take around 15 hours to beat, taking into account a little exploration.
Those who wish to take their time examining every item, hunt for collectibles, and experience every conversation, could take over 20 hours to beat the first game in the series. Max Caulfield's story in Life is Strange features many important decisions to be made along the way, and most of them have lasting consequences seen throughout the entire game.
To witness every possible outcome of the most important choices in Life is Strange, fans will have to replay episodes, or play through the story again, multiple times. There are no Achievements/Trophies linked to Max's decisions, but there are for completing every episode and taking optional photos.
How Many Episodes Are in Life is Strange?
There are five episodes in Life is Strange, each taking approximately 2-3 hours to complete. At the end of every episode, players see the decisions they made and the percentage of other players who made the same choice. This can be filtered globally or just between friends.
Thankfully, fans don't have to wait months between episodes anymore, as they did during 2015 when the game was initially released. All episodes are included in the Life is Strange Remastered Collection, along with Before the Storm, a short episodic prequel to the events of the first title.
Those who played Life is Strange: True Colors will recognize Steph Gingrich in Before the Storm. Steph is one of the few obvious connections made between entries in the anthology series.
