XS lightweight concrete casting mix is a white, single component lightweight concrete mix. XS Lightweight greatly reduces the weight of architectural pieces, widely used to cast pieces that can replace heavy, bulky precast concrete architectural elements. The lightweight aggregate provides the greatest weight reduction and unparalleled strength when compared to other brands. XS Lightweight Concrete provides a durable precast element for a pleasing architectural detail with the lightest achievable weight.

When trying to reduce labor costs on concrete fabrication projects, being able to limit your de-molding and installation crew to only one or two people can be a huge help. With a material density of only sixty pounds per cubic foot, a piece casted in XS Lightweight Concrete is nearly half the weight of a typical casted concrete project. This weight reduction can also help to make architecturally engineered specifications a little easier to accomplish, being able to limit the load on multiple story buildings. XS Lightweight Concrete can be pigmented to a variety of shades using the XS ColorPacks. The dosage ratio is 1 ColorPack per bag of XS Lightweight.

Density: 59.3 lb per cubic foot.

Packaging: 35 lb.

Mixing ratio: 4-6 quarts of water to 1 – 35 lb bag of XS Lightweight Concrete.

Coverage: approx. 12 ft² @ 1/2" (1.1 m² @ 12.7 mm) OR 0.5 ft³ (0.01 m³).

Where to use: Balustrades, Architectural Accents, Staircase Rails, Wall Decorations, Decorative Statues, Building Facades, Three-Dimensional Molds, Custom Building Accents, Free-Standing Art Pieces, Countertops, Propane Fire Pits.
