I am wanting to attach a link in my Instagram bio so viewers can click the link to shop the items I have posted. As you do with Like to know it. I have not be accepted by RewardStyle yet. How do accomplish this pre-RewardStyle acceptance?

This is a great post :)) so helpful. I actually applied to rewardstyle yesterday and got Approved within an hour of applying (I was thinking I had to wait weeks before hearing from them) And now I’m trying to figure out exactly how to get started (content based)

Thank you for your insights! My question is how do you build your following prior to getting on like to know properly. If I post pictures of outfits – is there another way I can link them so my followers can shop? It’s not about the commission at all, I just want to use IG and my blog as a creative outlet but don’t want to violate any unofficial IG rules by saying hey this shirt is from Madewell, but providing no link. HELP!

Hi! I just got accepted to RewardStyle and am wondering how you started linking it to your Instagram. Did you retrospectively go back and add any recent photos that were shoppable? Or did you just start with your next posts? Also, do I have to post images with the Like to Know it overlay for them to be shopabble by screenshot?

Does it depends on a products price? or it’s just about redirecting user to a link that is for selling that item? and should users shop that items certainly or directing them to a site is enough?

However this is more of an eye opener for me. I have also applied to join the Facebook group you suggested above. Thank you for this post! It is so helpful! I just started my fashion blog and sometimes I include items that are not current like a handbag or shoes and can not be linked to anything. Is this something I should avoid doing to keep my whole outfit linkable? Can I link it to something similar?

Hi Amanda, I just saw your post! It is so informative. I actually use Like To Know it, and think it is great. I am an Interior Designer, and have noticed there is a LTK home. How does that work exactly? Additionally, fashion or home, once you are approved, are you linked up with vendors from LTK, or do you purchase your own items?

If I posted a lifestyle shot showing several home items and where to shop, that would take away of a perspective client wanting to hire me, and the client I would be showing their items would not be happy, correct? I just wanted to say thank you so much for writing this! I recently purchased my website got my social media handles etc. to start building a very niche fashion blog. I am super excited because I know it fills I need but I really had no idea where to start. There is so much information out there, but this was quality information! Once I saw her posting I definitely want my girls to be able to get access to the specific pieces! Is there any other way to link things before we get “like to know it status “?? Lolll thanks!!! 1. Awh so sorry babe you can’t use the links until you are approved! You can apply for Shopstyle and use their links on our website until then! Also a great platform, they just don’t have anything for Instagram!

1. Hey, I saw your comment and just wanted to include my two cents! I just got approved to rewardStyle and I was using shopstyle when I was approved! Probably because I post consistently and like mentioned above quality photos are basically the standard! However, don’t be discouraged! Depending on your audience, shopstyle may be where you’ll make the most money!

Thanks for the insightful info about LTK. I’m actually a laptop bag owner and I’m looking for ways to work with bloggers and I come across LTK. I’m curious about how they work with bloggers. Do bloggers only earn commission when shoppers make purchases? Do bloggers get paid for impressions or maybe engagement such as a number of likes on the post?

I was wondering once I do, do they tell me where I can shop in order to tag the items on my blog? Do I actually receive any discounts from retails/brands for my purchase? Excellent post Amanda, I was totally clueless on LTK…I went on it online, singed in and was going nuts looking for the “add photo” feature !! Silly me! …Now, I understand the procedure, thank you !!!

People in the blogging world sometimes forget how important is sharing and giving, which will ALWAYS be a win-win…people seem to feel threatened when they give away information, when on the contrary when you help somebody else, you gain respect and appreciation from others.

Thank you for sharing those valuable tips, I’m currently investing in photography, as like you said, is one of the most important things.

Hello Amanda, Thank you so much for posting this! I came across LTK on IG and was curious about it. I’m not a blogger at all but, I recently purchased a shopping platform that’s connected to retailers who pay me and my customers for going to them. I wanted to know how RS would be able to be integrated into what I have. I have a general idea, but I wanted to hear your experience. Can a blogger make a good living from the RS’s platform? I’m anticipating future posts about RS from you and would love to hear your thoughts. The world of e-commerce is where I’ll be in the next few years.

Hi Amanda! I love your blog! I am new to blogging and this post was very helpful! However, I have a few questions. I just signed up for RewardStyle and now am nervous I will be rejected and will not be able to apply again for a very long time. I am worried that I will be rejected because I do not have heavy traffic on my website nor many posts as of yet. If I am rejected are there any other affiliate programs I can use? (I know you mentioned you would have a post explaining this but I could not find it).

Also, when should one apply?? You were mentioning to not apply too soon as they may not approve you. So is there a certain number of followers on IG you should reach or maybe a certain number of posts you should have before you apply??
