Personal Life

Her mother was a model and her father was a businessman. Before she got into acting, she schooled in Eastern Illinois University. She had a daughter with Kenji Pace. In 1992 however, Tony Martin made her his wife for two years. About twelve years after the divorce, she went on to marry Michael Misick but the marriage did not work, Michael got himself into a scandal relating to corruption and was arrested.

Career

Her first professional shot at acting was in the show “Reasons”. Lisa’s acting skills were recommendable that she started getting more roles. She featured in several shows and dramas like “The Players Club”, “All About You” and “All of Us”.

Controversy

At a Los Angeles nightclub in September 2019, she was crowned a queen mother of Ghana at a special occasion. This title was given to her by a member of a hip hop group. Ever since she was given that title, she had referred to herself as the Queen Mother of Ghana anytime she was granted an interview.

Ghanaians mocked her and made her aware Ghana does not have a queen mother because the country is not a monarchy.
