Living in Concord

As the largest city in Contra Costa County, Concord has much to offer, from housing choices, to shopping and recreational opportunities.

In 2017, and again in 2021, the Concord City Council passed an inclusive city resolution affirming the City’s commitment to being a welcoming, inclusive, tolerant and supportive community for all.

Concord has been recognized as the best place in California to raise a family, awarded Best Music Scene by the Livability website, and has been designated a Tree City USA for 33 consecutive years.
