red lobster's lobsterfest is back for 2021

When you go to Red Lobster, it's simply a given that you will consume a lot of lobster, yes? OK, and Cheddar Bay Biscuits, but lobster too! And there is no better time to hit up your local R-Lobs (is that a thing?) than during Lobsterfest. And it's coming, like, really soon, my dudes!

Red Lobster announced that Lobsterfest will be back on February 1. This event is when the chain gets all sorts of creative about how they serve up delicious lobster, and we get to reap all the benefits. New dishes this year include the Ultimate Surf and Turf, made up of a six-ounce filet mignon, a butter-poached Maine lobster tail, and bacon-wrapped sea scallops served with your choice of two sides. Also new to Lobsterfest this year are the Kung Pao Noodles with Fried Lobster, which includes fried lobster tail with noodles tossed in a soy-ginger sauce with edamame, cabbage, crispy onions, cashews, and green onions.

Returning this year is Lobster Lover’s Dream, which is a roasted rock lobster tail, butter-poached Maine lobster tail, and lobster-and-shrimp linguini in a creamy lobster sauce with sides. And this year, for every Lobster Lover’s Dream purchased during Lobsterfest, Red Lobster will contribute a portion of its proceeds towards lobster sustainability efforts, including "scientific research around the impact of a warming ocean on the Maine lobster population, as well as rock lobster Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPs) in Nicaragua, Honduras, Belize and Brazil."

The Bar Harbor Lobster Bake—made of split and roasted petite Maine lobster tails with shrimp, bay scallops, mussels, and fresh tomatoes served over linguini in a garlic and white wine broth—will also be back, among several other fan faves. Oh, and they're all served with Cheddar Bay Biscuits! You can get these in-restaurant as well as to-go starting on February 1. Get your bibs READY.
