About the Alex Awards

The Alex Awards are given each year to ten titles published for adults with special appeal for young adult readers (defined as 12-18 year-olds). Committee members change regularly, and awards are announced each year at the ALA Youth Media Awards ceremony in late January or early February.

See something you'd like to read, but can't find it in the Carlyle Fraser Library in the format you want? Ask a librarian for help or request we purchase a title!
