Overview
What is it?Lorazepam is a medicine used in the treatment of anxiety, epilepsy and convulsions (fits) as well as for sedation and as a premedication for people about to undergo minor surgical operations.
Sought after effects- Relaxant
- Sedative
- Anti-convulsant (stops fits)
- Confusion/balance problems/dizziness
- Muscle weakness
- Possible depression
Small, usually round tablets, often colour-coded; 1mg- white, blue, green or violet/purple, 2.5mg- pink, yellow or orange; as a solution, a colourless liquid (oral- 2mg/ml, injectable- 4mg/ml).
How is it taken?Orally (the tablets are swallowed); intravenously (injected as a solution); nasally (snorted when ground to a powder)
