What will happen in Lucifer season 5, part 2?
The plot of Lucifer’s return is mainly under wraps at the moment with only a few hints dropped about what will come next.
Fans do know God (played by Dennis Haysbert) will be playing a big role in the show going forward after he was introduced at the end of episode eight.
However, just how he will be integrated into the story has not yet been disclosed.
As well as this, the episode titles have been confirmed and they will include a special musical episode for viewers to enjoy.
Co-showrunner Joe Henderson has also revealed more drama could be on its way for Chloe Decker (Lauren German) and Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis).
Speaking during Baltimore Comic-Con, he said: “We are the biggest Deckerstar shippers next to you guys.
“But we know the fun of it is just because a couple is together doesn’t mean there won’t be roadblocks.
“But at the same time, we respect the fact the amount of emotional investment that our fans have put into the characters is because we put them in there.
“So much of the story going forward is the story of love but the story of love is... so often it is a story of challenges.
“And I think what I love about it is that challenges make a romance feel all the more earned.”
Just what this means will only be revealed when the series returns to the streaming platform.
