Luke Bryan Loses His Brother-In-Law

Luke Bryan is mourning the loss of his brother-in-law. Ben Lee Cheshire died over the Thanksgiving weekend.

According to the obituary in the Albany Herald, 'Ben Lee Cheshire, 46, of Leesburg, GA died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.' No cause of death was given.

Cheshire was an active member of the Lee County business community and was involved in The Lee County Recreational Department and his loyalty to the Trojan

Cheshire was married to Luke's sister Kelly, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 39 in 2007. 'They never determined what happened. The autopsies, the coroner, no one could figure it out,' Bryan tells Taste of Country.

Bryan is with his family in Georgia and plans to officiate Cheshire's funeral Tuesday. According to ABC News Radio, Bryan has cancelled his performance at the CMT Artists of the Year Tuesday night.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made to the Lee County YMCA, 316 Robert B. Lee Road, Leesburg, GA 31763 or Lee County Recreational Department, 110 Starksville Road, Leesburg, GA 31763.
