A high performance more sustainable alternative to lumber, Murphy’s Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) beams, headers and columns are used in structural applications to carry heavy loads with minimum weight. Murphy structural LVL products are manufactured in a controlled environment resulting in straighter, stronger and more uniform products compared to milled lumber. It is a more stable and reliable product than dimensional lumber because it doesn’t twist and warp or shrink over time.

LVL Product Grades available:

Murphy’s engineered veneer lumber is available in 2.1E and 2.2E product grade.

LVL Product Size options:

Thickness – 1-1/2″, 1-3/4″, 3-1/2″, 5-1/4″ and 7″ Widths – 3-1/2 ” to 24″. Specialty rip width on request Lengths – 8′ to 72′. DET lengths available on request
