At first the lyrics seem clear, but the more I think about them, the more interpretations I get.

Currently I think it might be about a relationship (any relationship, not specifically between lovers) that has gone awry, only the other person still cannot accept this and keeps living in the past, when all was still good. Might it be that the singer thinks the other to be responsible for this situation?

I think this song is about when someone is obssesed with a person or situation but to other it's not the same. That's when you create your own world and live in it "livin a dream" Thinking about the past and the things you could have done to change a situation. When the other doesnt care at all.
