Address:Mulholland Hwy., Malibu, CADirections:US 101 exit 33 onto Las Virgenes Rd. Drive south 3.5 miles. Cross Mulholland Hwy and the Park entrance will come up quickly on the right. Drive in, park in the second lot on the left, then cross the road to the trailhead. Follow the High Road trail along the creek. At the bridge, follow the main trail (Crags Road) to the M.A.S.H. location. Admission:Park entry fee. Save to My Sights

A three mile round-trip walk from the trail head to the M.A.S.H. opening credits location (from the TV series, and perhaps also from the film). Used to be part of the Warner Brothers lot, then was donated to the state as an extension to the park. Signs point to the "MASH" site. There's an old rusted jeep and a rusted ambulance ... and one picnic bench. The helicopter landing pad is up a steep embankment. Bring a hat and a bottle of water. Stay on the trail -- there are rattlesnakes in the brush.
