TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — A man is injail after Tulsa police say he attempted to shoot two people Friday.

TPD says the man also admitted to a murder from 2013.

Police arrested Brennan Lovett, 38, after they were dispatched to a shots fired call around noon.

While in custody, Bell told officers he was involved in the shooting death of Wayne Bell,48, in 2013.

Bell was shot while he was taking out the trash and was found dead the next morning in adriveway.

When Tulsa's Channel 8 reported this in 2013, people we talked with said Bell was well respected by his peers.

He was a former coach and teacher's aid.

Lovett is being held in the Tulsa County Jail on a 1st-degree murder complaint, five complaints of shooting with intent to kill and also for possession of a firearm.

His bond is over $375,000.
