This man manages to make his girlfriend completely forget how the word 'eyes' is spelled and captures it on camera.

In the hilarious clip, Tom asks Libby what Y-E-S spells. She replies that it spells "yes". All accurate, no mistakes there.

It's when he asks her what "E-Y-E-S" spells that she begins to have difficulties.

‌

She just can't get her head around what he is asking her, saying "I don't get it" after replying that the answer is "e-yes" multiple times.

Earlier this week, this man was absolutely baffled by the four letter word, too .

His wife asked him the same question, but he couldn't get his head around the fact that the combination of letters just spelled eyes, a word most people can spell from a young age.

The video was uploaded to the Him and Her Facebook page and was viewed over 55,000 times.

Tom and Libby are raising money for their local children's hospice by driving to Mongolia in 2016.

The trip is over 10,000 miles and their page states they will be attempting it in a "battered old polo".
