Managing Your Account › Manage Payment Methods

Add or update your payment methods through Your Payments in Your Account.

To manage your payment methods:

1. In Your Account, select Your Payments.
2. Choose one of the following:

   • To add a payment method, select Add a payment method.

   • To edit a payment method, select the card you wish to edit. When the card opens, select Edit. You can update your billing address or update card details.

   • To remove a payment method, select the card you wish to remove. When the card opens, select Remove from wallet.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

You can also add a new credit/debit card to your account while placing an order through the shopping cart; when on the Select a Payment Method page, choose Add a credit or debit card and enter your details. The new payment method will be saved to your account and appear as a saved credit/debit card when you place your next Amazon order.

Updating a payment method in Your Payments will not change the payment method on open orders. To change the payment method for an open order, go to Change Your Order Information.

Note: Certain Health Savings Accounts (HSA) cards cannot be registered as Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or HSA cards with Amazon but can still be used if they're registered as credit cards. If you register your HSA card as a credit card, you'll be responsible for ensuring the card is used only for eligible products. HSA cards that are registered as credit cards do not automatically restrict the types of products you can purchase with the card. Purchasing ineligible products or services with the card may require you to report them and pay additional taxes. Contact your plan administrator or employer for more information.

• With Tap to Pay, you can add a contactless card to your wallet to pay for your order. Use the Amazon app with a compatible device for Tap to Pay transactions. There are no transaction limits. Select payment method at checkout for the Tap to Pay feature to appear.
• Instructions will advise you to tap your contactless payment card to your phone to complete the order. Once successful, you'll be notified.

Note: In some instances, card issuers may provide Amazon with updated payment card details when reissuing cards. For metal cards, the NFC antenna for tapping may be located towards the rear of the card.
