Managing Your Account Manage Payment Methods

Add or update your payment methods through Payment Options in Your Account.

To manage your payment methods:

You can also add a new credit/debit card to your account while placing an order through the shopping cart; when on the Select a Payment Method page, choose Add a credit or debit card and enter your details. The new payment method will be saved to your account and appear as a saved credit/debit card when you place your next Amazon order.

  1. Go to Your Account.
  2. Select Payment options section to arrive at Your Amazon Wallet.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To add a payment method, select Add a Card.
    • To edit a payment method, select the card for which you want to edit the payment method, and select Edit.
    • To remove a payment method, select the card for which you want to remove the payment method, and select Remove.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. To establish default payment settings, go to Your Account->Your payments->Settings, go to Change Preference beside your default purchase preference, then select Change beside Payment method to select your preferred card.
Note: Updating a payment method in Your Account will not change the payment method on any open orders you have placed. If you need to change the payment method on an order that has not entered the shipping process, select Edit payment method for a current order on Your Amazon Wallet page.

Amazon.sg Safe Shopping

On Amazon.sg you can make payments with your credit or debit card in a completely secure way. Our server secure software encrypts your payment card information to ensure that your payments are always private and protected.

During the check-out process we will only ask you to enter your payment card details once. However, due to security reasons, each time you enter a new delivery address we will ask you to again enter your payment card information.
