Claim the Manaphy Egg before February 21, 2022

You may obtain Manaphy as a limited-time Mystery Gift only from November 19, 2021 until February 21, 2022. Unlock the Mystery Gift function by speaking to the old man on Jubilife TV's 2nd Floor.

You will receive it as an Egg and must hatch it in order to get Manaphy.

Manaphy Needed to Get Phione

Manaphy is required in order to get the Pokemon Phione. Manaphy needs to be bred with a Ditto in order to obtain a Pokemon Egg that will hatch into a Phione.

For players who intend to use Manaphy to it's full potential, we recommend looking for one with a Modest or Timid Nature. As a Special Attacker, it would appreciate the increase to either it's Special Attack or Speed and not mind the drop in it's Attack stat.

For Story Playthoughs, Special Attack and Speed Increasing Natures Should be Fine

When playing the main story, it isn't really necessary to have the best nature. Having any nature that boosts Special Attack or Speed should be fine. You will be able to change natures using Mints in the post-game so you can worry about that after clearing the main campaign.
