Manor Texas is a pastoral city that was mostly farmland but it has become increasingly popular over the years – and is now become a bedroom community of Austin. Located on Highway 290 about 12 miles northeast of Austin in northeastern Travis County Manor is popular with young families and professionals.
Manor Independent School District
The community has its own school district Manor Independent School District which serves the educational needs of more than 7000 students and there are plenty of affordable housing options for buyers. Because of the affordable housing Manor Texas is especially appealing to those who are making their first home purchase especially for single professionals and young families. Another advantage to living in Manor is that while the community is still in Travis County residents of Manor often pay less in property taxes.
