On the night of his apparent suicide, Mark Salling had been watching TV with family before disappearing and stripping away the device that tracked him during his house arrest, according an autopsy report on the “Glee” actor.

The report also revealed that he had alcohol but not drugs at the time of his death, according to Radar Online.  On the morning of Jan. 30, Salling was found dead of an apparent suicide by hanging at a river bed near his home in Sunland. He was 35.

Salling was scheduled to be sentenced earlier this month on child pornography charges to which he pled guilty in October. Authorities found more than 50,000 images and videos of “child pornography and child erotica” on Salling’s laptop and a thumb drive following execution of a search warrant.

He was expected to serve up to seven years in prison, and would have had to register as a sex offender.

Salling had been watching TV with his father at about 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 29, according to the autopsy report. His mother woke up at around midnight and discovered him missing from the premises, along with his vehicle. Salling’s roommate then found the tracking device down the street from the residence.

The family filed a missing report at around 3 a.m., and authorities found his body at about 11:30 a.m. Salling’s body tested for a blood alcohol level of 0.098, above the 0.080 legal limit for driving.

The report also said Salling had a “history of depression since his conviction for procession of child pornography in 2017.”

Salling was best known for his role as high school Noah “Puck” Puckerman on “Glee” from 2009-2015.
