Career in Review

Highlights of 2024 season were winning the title at WTA 125 Bastad and quarterfinal appearances at Guadalajara and Jiujiang Opened 2023 by helping Italy finish R-Up at inaugural United Cup; won two of her singles matches (d. Sakkari and Helgo). Reached two WTA 1000 quarterfinals at Miami (l. Rybakina) and Guadalajara (l. Dolehide) and also made Hong Kong semifinal (l. Siniakova). Results pushed her ranking to a peak of No. 18 on May 8, 2023. Enjoyed memorable 2022 clay-court season, lifting maiden WTA title at Rabat (d. Liu in F) and then reaching SF at Roland Garros (l. Gauff) Reached 2r four times in 2021 (including at Roland Garros and US Open). Also finished R-Up at WTA 125K Series event at Karlsruhe and reached two further finals on ITF Circuit During the 2020 season, cracked the Top 100 for the first time and reached a career-high ranking of No.83 on October 12, 2020.
