The Inhumans have been discovered, opening the door to a whole new world of superpowered characters.Of course, no one on the team knows yet that Skye (Chloe Bennet) herself has Inhuman abilities - or that her true identity is Daisy Johnson.IGN has an exclusive new clip for you from the midseason premiere, as the team has a conversation about everything that's occurred of late, including the tragic death of Trip, leading to things getting very heated between them - and causing Skye to... Quake. Check out the clip at the top of the page!Regarding how Skye is handling things, on a recent visit to the set of SHIELD, Bennet told us, “We’ll see her dealing with the loss of Trip. I think she feels extremely guilty over that considering he went down there to save her and then he died. It’s a lot of her figuring out that, ‘Oh, when I got upset down there, an earthquake happened, and I keep getting upset and that may be happening again.’ It’s her exploring whether or not it is her that is creating these things, and then her dealing with what she has to tell the team, because people who have powers, from SHIELD’s perspective, are put on the Index. That’s not really a place she wants to be, I don’t think. It’s dealing with admitting to her family. It’s kind of like she’s coming out almost as a superhero to her SHIELD family and moving forward from there.”As for how her teammates might respond to the changes in Skye, Bennet teased, “Some people react in a good way and some people react in a bad way. I can’t give you any specifics but it definitely, what’s the expression, throwing a wrench into things.”Bennet said she was officially told the truth about Skye’s identity “about two days before” she filmed it, though she’d managed to find out through other means a couple of weeks before, “and kept it a secret, which is really impressive for me!”Now that she knows she's playing the character, Bennet's gone back and read Daisy Johnson’s comic book history, but noted when it came to stories that stuck out, “I don’t think I should tell you because I think they’re the comics they’re going to pull from. But yes, I did do my research and went and obsessed over Daisy Johnson for a while after.”As for what Bennet thought when she heard there would be an Inhumans movie in the works, considering she's playing an Inhuman, she remarked, “I try not to think too much of it, because look at her right now. That just sums it up. It’s really cool because the day I found out was the day they announced all the movies, or like the day after. I was like, “The Inhumans movie? Who’s going to be in that one?!” I’m really excited. I don’t know. Obviously, I don’t know anything." She said, with a laugh, "If I was going to be in those, they’d tell me like the day of!”Agents of SHIELD returns Tuesday, March 3rd at 9:00pm ET/PT on ABC.
